Who writes this
Plainlore is a small independent publisher. Every guide starts with the same question: what does the actual research say about this, and why has nobody explained it in words a hurting person can read at 2 a.m.?
So the writing is plain on purpose. Every claim stands on published research, listed at the back of each guide so you can check it yourself. Where the science is mixed or still argued over, the book says so instead of pretending it’s settled. There is enough comforting nonsense out there already.
